CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE?
i am a freshman in high school. and i am supposed to do a report on some jobs that want but i ahve no idea what i want to be. some intrests that i have are culinary arts and medical stuff. but i only like to cook on a special occasion and i dont like blood or needles. i am also a very social person but every once in a while i like to be alone.
so if you could list some jobs that sound interesting please list them
or if you know where i can find a FREE career aptitude test online please list the link

You should be able to score a free test from your guidance counselor but I understand if you do not want to go that route.
if you want to stick to an online one start your search at About.com and search career assessments. Granted many will want $ but many of those will send you a summary for free. the summary will give you plenty of good leads for your direction. Go to http://www.about.com

It sounds as if you need to do some serious soul searching on this one. One of my sons’ had the same problem until the other day when he stated that he’s been helping people solve their problems online.
Right away I thought that he should be a counselor. This would be a great niche for him as he finds this to be a pleasant and rewarding task in knowing that he’s helped someone out with their problems.
Ask yourself this question. What are you good at and enjoy doing? I mean, what do you really enjoy? Are you good at it? Maybe you’re good at playing video games or working the computer? If this is so, then you can probably see yourself as an IT Professional or a Computer Software Specialist or even a Video Game Creator….
Try not to beat yourself up on this, as there are many people out here with the same problem and are doing jobs that their parents, friends and other family members would like them to do. In effect, they are miserable because of this. Really give this some serious thought as this is YOUR future we’re talking about here and try not to get stressed out about it.
Do yourself a favor and try to think of it as the world being your oyster and you doing anything you want and putting your mind to. There are many possibilities out here, but the worse thing you can do is be something your parents, friends, relatives, etc. want or think you should be. Even if it’s something as small as driving a bus. Hey, if this is what you want to do, then do it.
I hope I’m getting my point across. Don’t sell youself short on what you think you should be, but what you enjoy doing the most is what you should base your future job on. Then start putting the wheels in motion.
For Example, I went to college to become a Medical Lab Technician, but my heart wasn’t in it, so, now I’m a Successful Online Entrepreneur. Who would’ve thunk? I never thought I’d be doing this, but hey, what are the odds and most importantly, I love doing it.
So, Going to school for something you think you should be or trying to please everyone else, but yourself, only wastes valuable time, money, and energy, when you could be out there doing something you like and being successful at it. See where I’m going with this? I think you get my point now. And as far as finding out about F*REE aptitude tests goes…..just GOOGLE IT.
Google will show you the way. I hope I’ve been helpful to you. I didn’t mean to be repetitive, but I needed you to really understand where I was going with this. DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO and you’ll have a prosperous and rewarding life.
