For people who have taken the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator personality test…?
What were your results, and what are your religious beliefs?
I’ll go first:
I’m an atheistic agnostic Theravada Buddhist, and my results were INTP ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/INTP )
Just wondering if there’s any kind of relationship between the two

i got the same thing
I’m ESTP.
I’m an atheist pagan.
.
INTJ; a convert to Catholicism.
I have taken it, I am
ISTP

I am an multidenominational Christian (not evangelical, not fundamentalist)
INTP Pastafarian.
It’s been a while since I took the test. hang on…
I’m thinking of a different test. In that one, I’m DSI which means results oriented. I’m Fundamentalist Christian.
I am a social scientist and there is.
I have preferences for ENTP and I am atheist.
There are two issues present. First, among Protestant denominations and Catholic religious orders there is a correlation between typology and self selection into the groups. The Catholic Church as a whole does not have this issue.
Likewise, among NT’s in general there is an issue related to thinking for ones self and to go against the social standard.
That you doubt everything has to do with preferences for N and T together. Likewise, a preference for introversion means you spend a lot of time mulling around ideas. There would be a natural connection between Theravada and NT. In fact, it was probably designed by an NT since it is dominated by values people with a preference for N and T profess.
It sounds like you are joining people who naturally agree with you.
Research on typology and religion is actually quite extensive and there are also congregation effects as well.
Of greater interest to you personally, should be that getting rid of self doubt is designed for NT’s who are born with self doubt. It is almost a specific characteristic of having the NT preference and being young. ALL NT’s should hit enlightenment because the Theravada steps happen to match the natural biological maturing process all intuitive thinkers experience. In other words, simple aging should get you to what the Theravada define as the enlightenment process. You do not have to do anything except stay physically and emotionally healthy.
If you are not an NT, it is also very unlikely you will ever reach enlightenment as the Theravada define it, because the natural maturing process takes you to another path and this path would not hold a lot of meaning.
I’m ISFP when I take the test. On occasion I test as ISFJ (slight J).
I’m pagan.
INTP!
agnostic, believing if there is a god he is worth worshiping.
INFJ… Christian.
I am ISTJ.
