Does anyone know of a website or place I can go near NKY to find out information about various career choices and education?

I’ve already graduated high school and i am completely unsure of what i want to do. I figure a test could give me an idea of where i want to go from here.

I’m a junior in high school and i really need to start cracking down on college decisions. The problem is i don’t have a clue what i want to do or major in so i can’t really narrow down a list of colleges. So i thought i would try an aptitude test but i can’t seem to find any good, reliable, or FREE ones.
Any suggestions?

I want to become a credit counselor and educated people and help them budget and what not to get out of debt and stay there and begin to improve their score. I have a little background in this field just like 6 months and i think its something i would like to do long term. i live in central valley of ca.

I have a job I do like, although it is rather mundane, boring and has little advancement opportunity. However, in an economy where jobs are being lost left and right, the job seems to be secure and does have a good benefits package. I also am able to pay my bills every month. I am very grateful for that. But, it is has been ten years since I graduated from college, and I have yet to obtain a position that seems to be in skill set. Would career counseling be helpful for me.

Anyone know a website for a career placement test for kids? im 12 and i wanna know what i’ll be best at. its for school we have to see what we want to be and i wanna be a writer but i wanna see what else i could be. any help with a website for kids?

If anyone have any suggestions, I’m all ears about counseling.

I am really confused right now bt i want to consider all my options so that i dont feel regret later so plz if any1 knws bt a counselor… I wud be really thankful….

I am asking for help from anyone who can help guide me to the best possible career for me. I want to find an online college that offers an associates degree in health and nutrition for children. I want to go work for my local Children’s Medical Center, or If I can’t get there, then I want to work with children. Children make me happy and they make me laugh. Having a career working with them would make my life less stressful and I hope I can make a really good living by doing that. I have looked and looked for online colleges, and haven’t seen any that offer associate degrees in wellness and nutrition(or health). I have seen respiratory,occupational,and physical therapist assistant degrees, but I am afraid those are hard to understand careers. So If anyone can help me pinpoint what is out there for me, or give me free career counseling, I would appreciate it. I hope to hear back with answers.

Often administered under the guise of a career aptitude test, the ASVAB’s purpose is to better equip the State to prey on young people tricked or pressured into taking the test. According to Debbie Hopper of Mothers Against the Draft, it is often given under the pretext of being a “career placement” test. (In some cases it has in fact been used that way, no doubt in an attempt to legitimize what many Americans regard as not legitimate: the use of government schools as military recruiting grounds.)

(Alert: The No Child Left Behind Act allows access to all information needed by the military. Perhaps parents need to take a look at this “ACT”.)

If the US military is so good, so up front, so completely honest, why do they have to engage in so many sneaky tactics in order to entice recruits!?
