I ask as the few times I have taken this and other personality tests, the results have been different.

I have taken the test and my first result concluded in me being an INFP. Couple of weeks later, i felt rather unsure of whether or not, i am really an INFP and decided to take it again. Only this time I’m labeled as an ISFP. What does this mean?

What were your results, and what are your religious beliefs?

Where in the World Do I Belong?? Which country’s culture fits your Myers Briggs personality type?

Having delivered the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality assessment for many years, I know how personality preferences can get in your way once you leave the corporate world behind as a ‘wage slave’ and run your own business.

For example, someone who enjoys being with around other people in a social setting or group is known as an extrovert. An extrovert often talks more than they listen and if they are working alone for any length of time, they can feel stressed. A good way for them to counteract this feeling of loneliness, is to schedule a call to an associate, colleague or friend most days to discuss how their day is going. Or better still, arrange a meeting and talk over their business ideas.

At the other end of the personality scale, we have the introvert. An introvert prefers to spend time alone, deep in their own thoughts. They’re the complete opposite of extroverts and tend to reflect more than they talk. Introverts feel completely at ease working on their own, and can often enjoy the solitude of being left to their own resources throughout the day.

An introvert’s worst nightmare can often be attending networking events and having to mingle with people they don’t know. One solution for them to overcome this fear, is to prepare an ‘elevator speech’ before the event, comprising of a couple of phrases describing their business and what they do. If not, is there a comparable test that is free and can be taken online (I would want the ending personality result to reflect one of the 16 personality types of Myer Briggs).

This research is focused on individuals who received their first community choice. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator results and career and technical interest measures based on the Strong Interest Inventory from the Naval Academy classes of 1998-2001 were analyzed using discriminant analysis. This project was designed to provide company officers with the information needed to counsel midshipmen about the service communities available following graduation from the United States Naval Academy. The analysis demonstrates that while personality type as measured by the Myers- Briggs does affect the likelihood that an individual will select a particular community, other demographic information such as academic major, SAT scores, and Order of Merit have a much greater effect. The Career and Technical interest measures used by the Naval Academy’s Admissions Board were found to have very little effect on community selection.
